Development & Environmental Review Process Update from Broward County

Broward County Will Require All Permit Requests Submitted via ePermits website

Beginning May 3rd, 2021, ALL submittals for Development & Environmental Review projects (Counter 5 on the first floor) in Broward County will only be accepted electronically through the ePermits website portal https://webapps.broward.org/EPermits/

Applicants will no longer be able to submit any plans for review in person.  If any of your customers need to see Development and Environmental Review, please make them aware of the new policy or they can call 954-357-6666 ext. 2 for additional information.  Broward County Planning and Development Management Division is promoting this with emails to all the building departments, emails to frequent customers, signs in the lobby etc.

Please forward this to anyone who may need to be made aware of this policy change.  Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

  • Paper plan submittals will no longer be accepted
  • Plans must be submitted electronically for review online
  • All plans must be signed and sealed (digital, stamped, and raised seal are acceptable).
  • This will apply to all projects.
