Megan Purdue 
  

Ms. Purdue is a Senior Property Manager with Stiles Property Management where she has enjoyed over 10 years of personal and professional growth and development.  Prior to joining Stiles, Ms. Purdue was an accountant in both the public and private sectors of business. Ms. Purdue currently manages and supports portfolios in Sunrise and Miramar.

Ms. Purdue joined BOMA Ft. Lauderdale & Palm Beaches in 2008.  She served on Future Leaders Council in 2014 and served as an officer for the Board of Directors in 2015-2017.  Ms. Purdue currently serves on the Board as President.  Megan has supported the TOBY Committee since 2013.

Cary Fronstin 
  

Executive Vice President, Director of Management at Foundry Commercial.

Cary has over 23 years in the commercial real estate industry as an appraiser, property manager, and asset manager. At Urban, Cary oversees the nationwide office and industrial portfolio responsible for maximizing asset value. He is the current President of BOMA Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches and a Past President of BOMA Florida and serves on BOMA International's Executive Committee. Cary earned his Bachelors Degree specializing in real estate from the Florida State University, was appointed to the BOMA Fellows by BOMA International, and also earned the RPA designation from BOMI Institute and LEED Green Associate designation from GBCI. He has served as our Government Affairs Chair since 2007.

Jacqueline M. Fermin

Jacqueline M. Fermín, President of BOMA Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches, is the Director of Property Management for Holladay Properties. She is a licensed real estate broker for the state of Florida and holds Real Property Administrator (RPA®) and Facilities Management Administrator (FMA®) designations through BOMI International. Jacqueline also serves on the BOMA Southern Region Board of Directors.

Jacqueline has been involved with BOMA since 2007 and actively participates with many committees. She currently heads the SLRP (Strategic Long Range Planning) Committee and is TOBY Committee Co-Chair for 2015 along with Megan Purdue. She has been a TOBY judge as well as a TOBY Team Leader various times throughout her tenure with BOMA.

With three TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year Award) Medical Office category in 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 as well as a BOMA Southern Region TOBY for Medical Office category in 2015, Jacqueline and her team have successfully turned properties that were in need of management and operational attention into award-winning buildings. These successes took them onto the BOMA International competition in 2014.

She looks forward to her involvement with BOMA Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches and is proud to be associated with an amazing group of professionals from which she can learn and grow with.

Melanie Schrul 
  Executive Director, BOMA Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beaches, Inc.
 

With over 20 years of association management experience Melanie brings knowledge and passion to associations. Melanie is the former Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Chapter of NAIOP and has served on numerous associations’ Board of Directors.

Melanie has worked as the Executive Director for BOMA Fort Lauderdale and The Palm Beaches since 2002 and the Executive Director for BOMA Florida from 2006 - 2016. She is responsible for the increased size, participation and notoriety of BOMA FTL/PB, Internationally, state-wide and locally. She was instrumental in the BOMA Southern Region Conferences in 2007 and 2018 and has garnered several BOMA International Awards for Best Practices. In 2004 Melanie incorporated and owns Management Association Services, Inc. (MAS, INC.)

She also became the Executive Director for BOMA Greater Tampa Bay in October 2017.

Melanie received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Social Sciences and a minor in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University. She is the past Chair for the BOMA International Association Executive Council, a BOMA International appointment. Melanie was hand selected from this region to serve on the BOMA One Standards Compliance Task Force.  In 2017 she was appointed as the Chair for the Local Education Services Forum for BOMA International.

Lynda Bowie 
  

Lynda currently serves as Vice President for Modern Image Landscape & Design, a full service commercial landscape maintenance contractor.  Prior to starting Modern Image with her husband Jeff in 2003, she worked as an Account Executive in the Public Relations/Event Management field.        

Lynda has been a BOMA member since 2004. She is very active in the local  and currently serves on the BOMA Board of Directors.   She also serves as a Tri-Chair of the Ron Mackllin Golf Memorial Tournament committee formerly known as BOMA Day.  Lynda enjoys  being a TOBY (The Outstanding Buillding of the Year) judge which she has done since 2006.   In 2011 Lynda was awarded the Outstanding Member of the Year.

Robert Farina 
  

President/Owner-RJF Environmental Consulting Services, Inc.

Rob has 20 years of Indoor Air Quality Investigation and assessing experience with an HVAC background as well rememdiation consulting. He is also a certified Thermal Photographer.

Rob has been a member since 2001. Served on Education chairperson 2003-2007 -TOBY Chairperson 2006 -TOBY committee member 2004, 2005, 2007- BOMA Day Chairperson 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 -Membership Chairperson 2008, 2009, 2010, Green Committee member 2009/2010 , Board of director since 2005, Education MOLD instructor.

Don was named Associate Member of the year twice and rose from the Future Leadership Council to the Board quickly due to his leadership skills.  He has co-chaired BOMA Day (golf) for 6 years and was the "man behind the scenes" for TOBY for as many years.

Michele Pellico 
  

Michele Pellico, RPA, FMA has been in the commercial real estate industry for twenty years. Michele currently is the Regional Manager of Florida for Property Group Partners, overseeing City Place Towers and working on acquisitions and expansions for PGP in the South Florida Market. Working for multiple companies through the years, Michele has led her teams to win 4 TOBY Awards through BOMA: (2) Office Building of the Year and (1) Renovated of the Year through BOMA Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beaches and (1) Southern Region of US, TOBY for the renovated category. Other achievements included her building receiving the first LEED Gold Certification in West Palm Beach from U.S.G.B.C. under the Existing Buildings O & M Category in 2011 as well as attaining BOMA 360 designation and an Energy Star rating of 99. Under CBREGI, Michele led her team to complete $14.2M capital projects at Esperante from 2010-2013. Under Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors/Crocker, from 2014-2015, she led capital and Tenant Improvement projects exceeding $9M. Her past clients included: Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors, CBRE Global Investors, JP Morgan, ING Clarion, Berwind Property Group, Gaedeke Landers and she has provided due diligence for eight asset sales. Professional accomplishments also included BOMA Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beaches Property Manager of the Year and while employed with CBRE from 2010-2013 she was named CBRE, Inc. Property Manager of the Year for two years, as well Asset Services Leader and Team Leader of the Year in 2012 where she led a region of property managers in the Palm Beach Market. She had served for two years on the Board of Directors for BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches and 3 years for CREW Palm Beach Treasure Coast, where she is now the President.

Chris Rotolo 
  

Chris brings more than 22 years of commercial property management experience. Prior to joining Stiles, Ms. Rotolo was the district manager for Gaedeke Landers, Ltd. in Fort Lauderdale, overseeing 15 Class A office buildings and a staff from Miami to Washington, DC. Her duties included the reviewing and monitoring of financial and property operations, supervising personnel and tenant relations, and assisting in property acquisitions. Currently, she manages executive responsibilities for Stiles’ entire portfolio of properties as well as all three divisions of Stiles Property Management, including Tenant Improvements, Maintenance, and Management.

Chris was the President of BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches for a 2009-2010 term. Prior to becoming President, Ms. Rotolo acted as Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and has been a Board Member for over six years. She remains very active in committee level activities and has chaired both the Programs Committee as well as the Strategic Long Range Planning (SLRP) Committee.

Lauren Stephenson

As the Vice President for Harvard Maintenance, Inc., Lauren Stephenson has over a decade of hands-on experience in all aspects of the commercial cleaning industry.

Lauren has been extremely active in BOMA for several years. She has served on the following committees; Programming, TOBY, Strategic Long Range Planning, Sustainability, 2007 Southern Region Co-Chair and served as the BOMA Florida Marketing Chair. Her awards include, 2008 BOMA Outstanding Member of the Year, 2010 TOBY Sponsorship Chair and 2010 BOMA Associate of the Year. In 2011 Lauren was honored as the Outstanding Member of the Year.

Bunnie Willis 
  

Bunnie currently serves as Regional Property Manager with Patrinely Group, LLC.  She is based at the Cornerstone properties in Plantation, Florida.  

In addition to her volunteerism with BOMA, Bunnie was voted Outstanding Member of the Year 2017, Property Manager of the Year 2006 and 2016, and she has won 4 prestigious TOBY awards.

Bunnie served on the FLC in 2007 and was nominated to the Board in 2008. Bunnie served as Secretary-Treasurer in 2010 and 2014, Vice President in 2011, and President for the 2012-2013 term. She also chaired the SLRP committee in 2011.

Bunnie co-chaired the TOBY Committee in 2007 - 2009, as well as being a judge in 2005 and 2006.  In 2009 - 2017, she was the Chair of the TOBY Judging Committee.  Bunnie is the Chair of the Education Committee in 2008 - 2017. She also serves on the BOMA Day and TOBY committees and served as our Website Committee Co-Chair.  Most recently Bunnie was selected as the BOMA Southern Region Conference 2018 Co-Chair.

Jackie Awve 
  

Jackie Awve is the Creative Director/Owner of Jackie Awve Marketing & Design. She has worked in sales, marketing and business development for more than 20 years and has been a member of BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches since 2007.

Jackie serves as one of the Co-Chairs for the Marketing & Communications Committee and participates on the BOMA Day committee. She serves on the Future Leadership Council and is the Editor of the BOMA FTL/PB e-Connect. She also co-chaired The Office Building of the Year awards in 2010 and 2011.

In 2008, Jackie was awarded the inaugural TOBY Rising Star award recognizing exceptional leadership and participation and in 2010 and 2014, she was awarded The Outstanding Member of the Year Award.

George currently serves in the capacity of Business Development/Marketing in South Florida for Universal Protection Security Service.  Universal Protection provides unmatched security service and solutions by creating partnerships with our valued employees and clients.

George has been a member of BOMA since 2008.  He is very active in the local and serves as co-chair of BOMA Day, co-chair of the TOBY’s Day-Of/Production team and serves on the Membership Committee.
