There are people who say Disney World is the happiest place on earth. Apparently, none of them have ever been on a backstage tour with BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches! There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to create the Disney experience.  We are excited to take a magic carpet ride… OK OK… a magic “bus” ride to Orlando, Florida with 53 of our BOMA members to experience the “Backstage Magic” Tour.

A One-of-a-Kind Experience

Get a seldom-seen glimpse at the wizardry and hard work going on backstage—and see how we bring the magic to life!

Millions are enchanted by the legendary magic of Walt Disney World Resort, but tour participants are among the select few who receive an up-close look into the artistry, technology, mechanical marvels and backstage secrets that go into producing world-class entertainment. Our guides provide a plethora of knowledge, little-known facts and insider insights as they whisk Guests away on an amazing 7-hour journey. Plus, each Guest receives a special commemorative gift!

We are encouraging each vendor attendee to bring at least one property management professional as their guest. If we have more than 40 people attend we will have two groups, one starting the tour at 9:00 a.m and the second group going on the tour at 9:30 a.m.

At the park, our tentative itinerary is as follows: (tour stops are subject to availability)

  • Epcot
    Explore the inner workings of The American Adventure as we reveal the feats of engineering and artistry behind this inspiring Audio-Animatronics stage show.


  • Magic Kingdom Park
    Become immersed in the story that started with Walt himself on Main Street, U.S.A.—navigate the “utilidor” tunnels, a network of underground passageways constructed beneath the theme park so Disney Cast Members and delivery vehicles can move around undetected.


  • Creative Costuming
    Observe the talented professionals who design costumes for Character, show and parade performers.


  • Central Shops
    Get up close with the artisans whose skill and craftsmanship make dreams come true all around the park—from the tiniest details to elaborate stage sets.


  • Whispering Canyon Cafe:
    Family style home cooking meal in the Animal Kingdom. 


  • Behind the Scenes at Rivers of Light
    Go backstage at this nighttime spectacular to see the technology, artistry and magic that bring the river to life in a brilliant symphony of sound, illumination and breathtaking special effects.

The tour price includes transportation to Orlando, continental breakfast on the bus ride to Orlando, the Disney tour, lunch and a box dinner on the bus ride home. 

Buses will leave promptly, So be there early.  We will not be able to accomodate late guests.  No walk-ins.  No shows will be billed.  No cancellations after February 10. Registration dead-line is February 13.

5:45 AM from PGA Blvd/Turnpike - 7111/7121 Fairway Drive, Palm Beach Gardens

  • For safety reasons, closed-toe and closed-heel shoes (such as sneakers) are required for this experience. No sandals, open-toe or open-heel shoes will be permitted.
  • No cameras, video equipment or cell phones may be used while backstage. However, photography is allowed and encouraged in all non-backstage areas.
  • For those of you who are meeting us in Orlando: 
  • Please check in next to the blue-and-silver “Epcot Guided Tours” sign posted outside and to the far right of the Main Entrance.
  • Please arrive no later than 8:40 am. Tour starts at 9:00 am.

Only members are permitted, no spouses, no children, or non-member vendors please.  Feel free to bring non-member property managers though.
