BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches Brings the Community Together at The Ron Macklin Memorial Open
BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on April 16 for The Ron Macklin Memorial Open. With 200 golfers and an additional 50 guests at happy hour and dinner, the day was a true reflection of the strength and spirit of our commercial real estate community.
The event was made possible by the support of more than 80 companies, led by Headline Sponsor Empire Roofing and Signature Sponsors Harvard Maintenance and Rose Paving. Their involvement, along with our members' and guests' participation, created a memorable and meaningful experience for all. Proceeds from the tournament support the Ron Macklin Education and Scholarship Fund, which helps property managers and building engineers continue to grow and advance in their careers. (The complete list of companies is below.)
This year, BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches was proud to award scholarships to Janel Iglesias and Tania Leon.
This event is organized by a dedicated committee of volunteers whose time and effort make it all possible. The tournament is held in honor of Ron Macklin, a respected leader who dedicated his career to improving the commercial real estate industry and strengthening the BOMA community. His legacy continues to shape our organization and its commitment to education and professional development.
We were especially honored to have members of the Macklin family in attendance, including Mike Edelen, Eric Milley, Aidan Boyle, and Tim Macklin, making the day even more meaningful.
BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches represents more than 325 members who own, operate, or service millions of square feet of commercial real estate across Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin Counties. Together, we remain committed to enhancing the value of commercial real estate through advocacy, education, and networking.
