Important Information for Sponsors

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR SPONSORS

Thank you for your support of the Ron Macklin Memorial Open. Your participation plays an important role in making this event a success—and in supporting the programs, education, and advocacy efforts of our association.

To help us deliver a seamless, well-executed experience for both our sponsors and golfers, we ask that you take a few moments to review the details of your sponsorship package below. This information is designed to ensure that every aspect of your participation runs smoothly and that you receive the full value of your sponsorship.
 

Logo Submission:
Please email your logo to Jackie Awve for inclusion in the event slide loop displayed during registration and dinner.
Guest Registration: All guests must be registered for the event, even if your sponsorship package includes a foursome. Registration is only included if explicitly outlined in your sponsorship package.

Promotional Items
As a courtesy to all sponsors, promotional items may not be distributed on the golf course. However, sponsors are welcome to include items in the golfer's gift bags. We require 200 pre-approved items to be received by April 10 (before noon). Please email Karen Terry to submit your item for approval and coordinate delivery.

Course Rules: All sponsors and guests are subject to the rules and regulations of Jacaranda Golf Club. The distribution of outside liquor is strictly prohibited.

Sponsorship Policy: Any sponsor found in violation of course rules will forfeit First Right sponsorship privileges.

On-Site Sponsor Arrival Times
To ensure a smooth and organized experience, sponsors with on-course activations will have designated arrival windows based on their activation type.

​Please note: Sponsors without an assigned activation time will not have access to the course during play. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants, on-course access is limited to sponsors with activations scheduled within their designated timeframes.

 

Sponsors: Frequently Asked Questions

 

What if my package doesn’t include a company representative at the event?
You’re still welcome to join us; however, tickets for lunch, happy hour, and dinner must be purchased separately. Lunch will be served from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and Happy Hour & Dinner will take place from 5:30 PM to approximately 9:30 PM. We’re unable to accommodate non-golfers on-site between these times. Pricing will be announced soon.

I paid $3,000—do I get a complimentary dinner?
Yes. Sponsors at the $3,000 level or higher receive two complimentary dinner tickets for non-golfers. Advance registration is still required.

If I’m a sponsor, can I stay all day and help out?
We appreciate the enthusiasm; however, event operations are managed by a dedicated committee of volunteers who have been planning for months. If your sponsorship package includes on-site representation, you’re welcome to participate during your scheduled time. A committee member will contact you with arrival details. Please note that lunch is not included, and all representative names must be submitted in advance.

What’s included with golfer registration?
Golfer registration includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, two drink tokens for happy hour, dinner, a golf hat, a gift bag, and a door prize ticket.

Can I come early and take a golf cart out on the course to see someone?
No. For safety and operational reasons, we’re unable to accommodate golf cart requests or off-course access during play.

What should I do when I arrive?
Sponsors: Check in at the sponsor tent outside the Jacaranda entrance, where a volunteer will assist you.
Golfers: Head to the 19th Hole for registration. Enjoy lunch and pre-event activities, and purchase tickets for the putting contest, mulligans, the 50/50 raffle, and raffle prizes.

Should I bring cash?
Yes, it’s recommended. Contests and raffles will be available on-site. If you don’t have cash, you can purchase BOMA Bucks with a credit card. BOMA Bucks may be used for on-course contests and raffle tickets, but not for food, beverages, or Pro Shop purchases.
