The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards, presented by BOMA International, are the commercial real estate industry’s premier honor, recognizing excellence in building management, operations, sustainability, and tenant relations. Buildings compete at the local, regional, and international levels, undergoing rigorous inspections and evaluation, with winners representing true best-in-class property management.
At the local level, our TOBY Choice Awards serve an additional purpose: the competition is a strategic professional development platform for emerging professionals. Participants gain hands-on experience in building evaluation, narrative development, and operational benchmarking—skills that develop the critical thinking and industry perspective required to advance in commercial real estate.
