Our mission is to enhance value in commercial real estate through advocacy, education, and networking.
Leading the way in
commercial real estate:
BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches is part of a long, proud tradition of commercial real estate leadership, BOMA International. More than 100 years ago, local building owner and manager groups in cities like Chicago and Minneapolis came together in 1907 to form the National Association of Building Owners and Managers—today known as BOMA.
From that foundation, the network of local associations like ours grew, focused on serving our regional markets while connecting members to a powerful national voice. As BOMA’s influence expanded—modernizing building standards, supporting innovation in operations, and helping shape public policy from its Washington, D.C. headquarters—local associations remained at the heart of its mission.
More than 50 years ago, BOMA created BOMI to deliver premier education and professional designations to commercial real estate professionals. In 2023, BOMA and BOMI merged, bringing advocacy and education under one unified organization.
Through this integrated BOMA/BOMI platform, our local association can offer members even stronger resources, designations, and best practices—equipping the Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beaches markets for the next century of commercial real estate.
